JaLynn Freeze: Missionary

I was blessed enough to be able to shoot my beautiful friend JaLynn the day before she left to serve
a mission in New York for The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints.
This girl is so much fun and always has a smile on her face!
She is going to be a great missionary.

These pictures were taken on the grounds of the LDS Newport Beach Temple

Okay, I absolutely LOVE this picture! This is her mom's mission tag that she is holding.
I believe she said it was in Portuguese (someone correct me if I am wrong.)
She asked if I could edit her name onto it. It took a little magic but I think I got it! I still love that it is her mom's tag though :)

Another prop JaLynn brought was an apple because
she is going to serve in "The Big Apple"!
How cute is that?!

There were so many more that I wanted to post! But these are a few of my favorites. She was so much fun to shoot. I'm so happy she took time out of her good-byes and packing to let me take pictures of her.
I wish you the best of luck on your mission JaLynn!

Hotchkiss Family 2013

Last month I got to go to St. Louis Illinois to see my cousin Wayne get Baptised.
And right before we left I took some pictures of the kids.
I guess it's kind of a yearly thing now when I see them.
But I love taking pictures of them!

Above all of the other pictures, this one is my favorite because
it shows all of their personalities so well

Botanical Garden

Two week I went to the Botanical Garden in Missouri.
It was beautiful there and we got to see a lot of cool plants.
I don't like nature photography too much but it is good practice and
these plants are beautiful and so unique!

This is such a weird plant! They call it the “sensitive plant”. All you do is blow or press on it and it will close up. They are found in Central America, West Indies, Hawaii, Fuji, and Australia.
